In this mixed up 2020 Formula 1 season the F1 roadshow will be heading to the beautiful South of Portugal for the first time since 1996 to race on the ever popular Algarve and fans will be allowed into to witness it live.

The Autodromo Internactional Algarve circuit will host its first Grand Prix and this unrelenting circuit poses a special challenge to the drivers who will be the first to race Formula 1 cars over this exciting high speed, undulating circuit.

This great circuit will serve up a spectacle for all making the short trip to the beautiful coastal town of Portimao, which has plenty on offer away from the track, including a relaxing beach, energising watersports, and some much-needed autumnal Portuguese sun. Don’t forget to try your luck at the famous Portimao casino. The weather is very moderate in the Algarve in October, with average daytime temperatures in the low-mid 20s centigrade. The circuit is 18km to the north of Portimao in the beautiful Algarve countyside.

You’ll stay 7 nights in the Plaza Real by Atlantic Hotels which is a complex of 63 apartments located just a 10-minute walk from the Três Castelos Beach. It features an outdoor pool for adults and another for children with shaded loungers and free WiFi throughout.

All of the spacious, air-conditioned apartments are equipped with a satellite TV. Each has a fully equipped kitchenette and some include a separate living room and a balcony. The Plaza Real by Atlantic Hotels has an on-site bar and breakfast room.

The centre of Portimão is located just a 6-minute drive from Plaza Real by Atlantic Hotels, while the Portimão Marina is just a 5 minute drive away, whilst the Portimão Train Station is within 1.9 miles.

Prices are based on 2 sharing and your package includes return flights, hand baggage, 7 nights self catering studio accommodation and a 3 day Galp Grandstand F1 Ticket.

Covid 19

Covid 19 is a fluid situation and we will do our very best to assist you at all times. In the event of your flight being cancelled, the UK or Portuguese boarder closed we will refund you in cash or move your holiday without administration fee for your flights, accommodation, transfers and car hire. Your race ticket will be refunded if the event is cancelled, moved or is run behind closed doors.
