Seize the day and don't miss the UK premiere of the hit musical Newsies. The Newsies musical centres on Jack Kelly, part of a ragtag group of newsboys working for journalistic tycoon Joseph Pulitzer. When Pulitzer makes it even harder for them to earn their already meager living, Jack rallies his fellow newsies to strike. What starts as a small movement balloons into a citywide movement for young workers and it catches the attention of Katherine Plumber, a budding journalist who strikes up a romance with Jack.
Coming to London 10 years after the show premiered on Broadway with its catchy songs, astonishing dancing, and ever-timely story of workers' rights won over countless fan who kept the show running for over two years. Newsies won over critics and awards voters, too, winning the Tony Awards for Best Original Score and Best Choreography. The show received six additional nominations, including Best Musical.
