September 1, 1989. Veronica Sawyer is an outcast, desperate to fit in and gain popularity among her high school peers. But after winning over the three most beautiful girls at Westerberg High people finally start to take notice of her. When a new mysterious guy shows up, and after a romantic meeting over a frozen slushie, Veronica’s life is suddenly turned upside down. What starts off as a simple joke, soon turns into a murderous revenge plot to take down anyone who steps in their way.
