The Venezia Hotel is within easy walking distance from Cismigiu Gardens, the National Opera and the Old Town,

The parliament building, once a Palace is the biggest of its kind and a must see.

On your first full day in Romania you’ll meet our representatives and head out of the capital to enjoy the fresh air and the beautiful landscapes in Transylvania which will take your breath away with its beautiful mountain landscape, gothic architecture and picturesque medieval villages.

First on this day trip from Bucharest is a visit to the region of Valahia where you will discover Peles Castle situated in picturesque Sinaia, “The Pearl of the Carpathians”. This former home of the Romanian Royal Family is a masterpiece of design, with stunning turrets and great attention to detail, as well as providing unbelievable views across the mountains.

From here the tour will travel into Transylvania and towards Bran Castle, where the legend of Count Dracula is kept alive all year round. Built in the 13th century Bran Castle is an intriguing hilltop fortress, and one of the most famous landmarks in Romania. Tourists gather from every corner of the world to experience a guided tour of this majestic castle, which is famed to have belonged to Vlad the Impaler, the alleged inspiration for Count Dracula. Both of these names are steeped in mystery and myth, and you will delight in exploring the origin of both.

Next on this fantastic day trip, you will be treated to a Brasov walking tour, which is a guided tour around a most gorgeous medieval city that is surrounded by the towering Carpathian Mountains. This Brasov city tour will take in the historical centre of this gem, including the Black Church, the Council Square, and the Old Walls, as well as leaving time to explore, shop, and dine. After enjoying your time in Brasov we will make our way back to Bucharest.

The following day is an altogether more relaxing experience. With no exaggeration, THERME is considered a hidden oasis close to Bucharest. It boasts 10 thermally heated pools where the water is drawn from underground, 11 saunas, 16 water slides and the biggest botanical garden in Romania with palm trees and orchids. You can also book a massage session here, take advantage of the curative effects of infra-red rays while relaxing on the relaxation beds or simply savour a cocktail at the pool bar. 

With the skip-the-line admission, you'll have access to all 2 areas of the centre: Galaxy and the Palm. The Palm area is designed for relaxation and features a variety of thermal pools, saunas, and a botanical garden. The Galaxy area is designed for active recreation and features water slides, a wave pool, and a children's pool. 

After you have replenished your energy, our driver will transfer you back to Bucharest.

*Peles Castle cannot be visited inside on Mondays all year and on Monday and Tuesdays from 1st October to 14 April. As an alternative, you will visit the castle outside and have an extended tour at the Dracula's Castle. Entrance to the castles are payable locally at at the time of publication are 50RON (appox £9) for Peles Castle and 55RON (approx £10) for Dracula's Castle.
